EDUCATION - COGPOW school

We have about 84 students in our growing school, where we provide education 5 days a week for the whole school year. We have gone from a dirt floor to a concrete building, and we are working to have about 100 students enroll in the fall of 2019.

Teacher of the Year

Mme. Charles is our teacher of the year. She is always ready to go above and beyond to assure that our students are given the maximum based on what we have available. She is an asset and a blessing.

QUENCHING THE THIRST FOR KNOWLEDGE: ADULTS ALONG WITH THE CHILDREN WISH TO BE EDUCATED
While the school is focused on children, we have about 10 adults with a thirst for learning who attend as well. As children learn to read and write, their parents also want to have that sense of power that comes from signing ones' own name, being able to read a book or newspaper, being informed, and being able to express oneself in different ways.  As our mission grows, we provide opportunities for the children and their parents to learn and grow-we would never turn anyone away.
